songwriting is an interesting process and exciting experience all the same

especially the beginning stages when a fresh, new song is 'potentialized'

the "cassette reel tapes" are those very first thoughts, notes, & progressions

'trialed & errored' after a main idea is formed...and while not every idea is a keeper

the pieces are eventually glued together to create one complete work
